Most of the issues with feedback/squealing are related to the fit of the tip in the ear canal. Please follow the correct wearing procedure below to reduce/eliminate squealing on your hearing aids
1. Generally speaking, squealing happens when a user doesn't fit the tube or domes well in his/her ear canal.
2. If you hear squealing sound, it means that your ear canal is larger than the dome meaning, there is a slight space between the ear canal lining and the ear dome. Therefore, the amplified sound leaked out and received by the microphone again. The result is squealing sound caused by positive feedback echoing.
3. We recommend you to fit the ear dome inside of your ear canal well and make sure that there is no "loose" fitting. If the tip still feels loose in your ear, try to use a larger ear dome included in the package to eliminate this issue.
4. If you still have the whistling, let us know, we can send the closed-tip (small, medium, large size) dome to see if it gives a better result. Ear dome should fit properly and firm to avoid squealing sound.
5. Be patient. It will take time to get used to a hearing aid. Wearing comfortably with your hearing aids may take about 2 weeks or more.
